"Les" from the Funky Winkerbean three-frame comic strip of years ago. It was nationally syndicated. Les looked nerdy, glasses, and was always portrayed as the oddball. He'd get sand kicked in his face on the beach by the handsome muscle guys.

There was one where he's at the beach, talking about being tired of getting sand kicked in his face, and that finally, he had a solution for it. He says: "I brought a gun!"

I'm watching some old Doctor Who featuring the second incarnation of the Time Lady Romana. Gettin' some autistic vibes off her body language, particularly the way she often doesn't quite seem to clock that someone else is present and talking to her.
