Hey everyone,

I've made the step of scheduling an initial screening with a psychologist recommended by a friend who was diagnosed about 10 years ago. Just scheduling the appointment was stressful because I had to explain what I needed to a total stranger on the phone (obviously, on-line is easier! )

Of course, now I'm facing a 2½ hour initial session with absolutely no idea of what to expect. Has anyone recently gone in for this kind of screening? The thought of being "on point" for that long (and being evaluated for that whole time) is a bit disconcerting. Any clue of what I might be able to expect would be really helpful. Thanks!

if you knew what to expect it'd defeat the purpose.

but basically, expect lots of questions especially about your childhood. write things out if you have to beforehand.
