Hello. I've finally found a doctor who can peform a diagnosis in my area and I've made an appointment to go next month. Yay. :?:

The doctor said any documentation I can bring will help, so I'm going to get copies of all my school records to see if they say anything. I've just started searching for a history questionnaire specifically for parents/friends that could help in the diagnosis. Is there one out there like that, or should I just have them use one of the online tests that are available and answer the questions based on what they've observed/remembered? Which ones? FYI, I'll be bringing copies of the tests I've taken myself.

Thanks in advance for any help/insight. :)

Typing in "childhood development", "milestones", and "autism" in Google will bring up pages with lists of various milestones normal children make at specific ages.

Here's a page; if you click on the various ages, it has a "what to watch for" list at the bottom after the various milestones normal developing children should make at the set age you clicked on.

ASDs present with specific delays in development, no matter which one.

 *gulp*

No, actually it's actor Bill Pullman as Darryl Zero from the movie "The Zero Effect." I feel like I have quite a bit in common with the character. Except for appearance. :(
