I've always been quite fascinated with severe weather, particularily thunderstorms and tornadoes, and pretty interested in climate and weather in general :) Although I guess I wouldn't call myself a weather buff-I just have so many different interests that there aren't too many that I really get deep into.

I'm a tornado buff lol Since four years old, I have been obsessed with tornadoes in particular...I just got hooked. But yes, I am pretty much obsessed with weather lol

In high school, I made a tornado chamber and, as my science teacher called it, "probably the most jam-packed trifold I've ever seen." I wrote really tiny and neat on a trifold board for the presentation and I fit an equivalent of 18 pages in Microsoft Word on it, not counting pictures lol. But I loved my little 3 foot tornado in a box...I miss it lol It's in my basement somewhere...lol

But yes, me=obsessed with weather, a bit too much hehe

I've seen a tornado! The moment was rather anti-climatic though.

Been a weather buff my whole life.

Today we're in the midst of bad winter storm. Evening classes have been canceled. Ya! No history for me today!

EDIT: The weather service says were now under a blizzard warning until midnight.

the lightening storms on the western great plains in the evening are really cool

seeing all sorts of twisters off in the distance isn't cool at all

why would an interest in weather be connected to AS if lots of NT's also are interested in weather :?:
