I'm constantly looking at the world around me when I'm out, I notice beautiful colours that go well together, planes flying over, the clouds, the roofs of buildings etc... it makes me feel comforted, I think because I'm focusing on the world around me and not the confusion that's often inside me. Sometimes I can get great joy out of a 'boring' object like a postbox if I like the colour or shape...

When I'm most happiest and relaxed is when I'm in a train and watching the world go by through the window. So many interesting colours, objects, clouds and other things to look at!

Anyone the same or similar to me? I've noticed most NT's just walk along blankly and seem to be in too much of a rush to appreciate what's around them.

I do this too. I especially love looking out the window on the train or bus. My husband said I'm a rubbish travel companion though lol

Anything from birds in the sky to doorknobs on houses. I also notice the silly things people do when they think no-one is watching. I love the panic face people do when they're using the pedestrian crossing and the lights start to flash when they're only halfway across. This is usually accompanied by a little jog.

Haha! Sometimes I find it funny when I'm in a really crowded place and I bump in to somebody, then they make an angry *sigh* or *tut* noise. I don't know why I find it so amusing. Maybe it's because I hate being in a massive crowd like that and like to see others being as annoyed as me. It makes me smile! *evil*

As I just mentioned on another thread, I live alone in the woods. When out in the woods, I notice all sorts of beautiful things, including all kinds of flora and fauna and beautiful colors. To me, it is extraordinary, especially when I am in the right mood. Since other people don't seem to want to live like this, I suppose they don't see what I do.

Yes, I do this too! I'm obsessed with the "real world art" of the natural world, interesting houses, trees, plants, animals (of course), colors, shapes, and when in stores or towns all the "bright shiny things," as my husband calls them that constantly demand my attention :D etc etc, the "art" is endless. If some beautiful or fascinating (to me) scenery grabs me it's like I need to absorb it and become part of if or something... I just stare and get lost in it.

The only things that never grab me or interest me like this, and they're not things at all, are people. I love browsing places like antique shops and arts/crafts markets but become stressed out by people if they look at me or talk to me instead of letting me get lost in all the bright shiny things.

I totally relate to this. I live in the remote high desert on a large acreage and am completely at home way out here with nature and my critters. (Fortunately my one friend, my husband, loves the hermit life as much as I do.) I bask in the natural beauty all around me. Even when I'm inside the house I'm surrounded by big windows that constantly bring that natural world in to me.

I like 'micro' stuff. I could sit and stare at all the variety in a 1' x 1' patch of earth for a good hour. From textures of vegetation to very small insects and how they inter-relate.

I absolutely love watching nature - squirrels, birds, trees blowing in the wind, the ocean, water gently rippling at a lake, a good storm, rain, lightning, etc. I also appreciate looking at anything that has brilliant colors or lots of interesting colors. Some movies are also great to just watch - (not paying too much attention to the plot, but just watching the interesting scenery roll by).

I notice every matrix pattern in the leaves, every dance of the grasses, every phrase of the birds. In fact, every single detail hits me, and it's beautiful. :)
I am never happier than walking through nature. It never overwhelms. Ever.
edited by me because of typo.

I notice everything around me too. People usually comment at me intensely staring at things.
I especially love watching the ocean.
