I can't wait for my cookery course to start in September. Until then my piano lessons are all that are keeping me going besides occasionally reading books. I don't have much energy to read for some reason - probably because I don't know how to cook yet and thus don't eat as healthily as I need to.

Anyone else suffering from a surfeit of boredom?

Yes, I have the same problem. I'm out of school for the summer and fiddle lessons are all that keeps me from curling into a ball and hibernating until school begins. I read, too, but the energy just isn't there now. I don't know what to do about it seeing as I can't get out of the house while everyone else is at work.

Maybe someone has some tips to help us?

I'm with you. I'mtrying to write a short story, but for some reason don't have the energy to do it. Must be summer's minions swiping our routines

You can borrow my dog; she wants me to give her attention but I've got to upload some photos and start my writing.

Hey, you can come and babysit my kids while I go out and do something. My AS son will be happy to talk to you about his special interest. Over and over and over and over and over. I'll even pay you.

If you want to start getting some cooking practice, you could start by following recipes on food packaging or online. That's how I learned. There are a lot of simple ones, and cooking is pretty easy because you don't need to be too precise. (Baking is different, you need to be more accurate.)

I'm sort of bored right now too though. u_u;; I just moved a couple towns away from all my friends, and I haven't found a job yet, so there's not much to do.
