I love this clip because I can relate to it so much. It is pretty much exactly what I would do in that situation. :P

For instance, once when I was about 15, I was drilling through a bit of wood in a technology lesson. I slightly lost my grip of the wood and it spun out of control. My reactions were too slow and it ended up burning/peeling off the skin on all of the knuckles of my left hand, and cutting into the palm of my right hand. I was so obsessed with not drawing attention to myself or letting anyone see my embarassing mistake that I didn't tell anyone and sat there with (heavily) bleeding hands until the end of the lesson. As I didn't have any friends in the class and generally have a completely blank expression, nobody noticed. 8)

Can anyone else relate to this?

I was at a really expensive hair dresser (I had an interview the next day and I looked a mess and this was the only one open on sunday in Lancaster, England)

While in there the hair dresser sliced into my ear, I didn't flinch or want to say anything, and she didn't notice, but I could feel the blood dripping onto my shoulder.
When she stepped back and saw her customer covered in blood she screamed.

I got a free haircut that day. :)

WillWasHere, that was a super-hilarious story (except for your possible pain -- that's not funny) !

It usually takes me a moment to remember to react to pain. So yeah, I guess that could be me. My natural reaction to severe pain is just to sit there more-or-less paralyzed 'cause it's taking up all of my brain and I haven't got enough left to move with.

...that could be dangerous, come to think of it.

Give me the monthly cramps or a tension headache, though, and I know very well I'm gonna be a b*tch to anybody I interact with... so I don't interact. It works. :)

That's what I would do too. Good thing you got a free haircut!

That's hillarious, Hala. And a great illustration of your point too.

I love scrubs it's hilarious (Dr Cox is an absolute legend) but I would have put the cup back onto a counter and winced in pain, drawing attention on me for good reason doesn't bother me.

Bit off topic, but are new series of scrubs still being filmed? Or have they stopped now?

I heard that a new series was being considered, but it wouldn't be the same as before, due to changes in cast or the creator or something. I may be wrong.

Zach Braff isn't coming back, so the focus on the new series was going to be the new interns, and also have Elliot Reid in it.

At least, that's my understanding of it.

OMG, LOL, poor Ted. I seem to remember a flashback where he was all optimistic and cheerful when he started at the hospital, but now he's been brow-beaten into submission by Kelso

Poor guy, LOL

I loved when Kelso was temporarily deaf and he told him how he felt about him but he could hear by then

Yeah that does :( won't be the same without his own imaginary world.
