Ok, so this weekend I went to see this rather intense movie about NT/AS intimiate relationships.

It was an eye-opener of the general perceptions of aspies by NTs, but even so I think Adam was just trying to be himself as much as he could.

Ok,I don't want to give away the movie, but I just wanted to ask people what they think of this movie?

I think it's great that the general public is being educated on the difficulty that people with Asperger's experience.

However, it's not the kind of movie that interests me. I thought "Sex and the City" was basically a pretty bad movie. Most people loved it. It felt like it was just lessons on how to ruin a relationship.

My favorite movie this year was "Star Trek". Really great.

It sounds like a great idea as an introduction for NTs to aspies, but I'm not sure about this romantic comedy setting, they tend to become quite sugar-coated and surreal.

I doubt that it will top Ben X.

My ex saw it, and aspects of it bothered him.. he's usually very tolerant.. I have yet to see it myself. But he wanted to get the script and write it himself, he felt that the script reinforced stereotypes that are out there about aspies.

Everything I've heard about Adam so far seems to reinforce negative stereotypes. It's not showing where I live, so I'll have to wait to see it.

I wish it was showing here. It's definitely go see it if it was. Anyone know when it's coming out on DVD?

I haven't seen it, and probably won't. All I can think of is half of the people walking out of that movie thinking "OMG I have Ass-Burgers!"

I liked it, but I wouldn't care much to sit through it again.
