I'm reading on this one geek fansite about some event that happened at Wizard World Chicago, where this one artist--Rob Leifeld--got 'burned' by a fan of Captain America who believes he did 'im wrong.

The guy bought a copy of "How to draw comic book characters", wrote something to Mr. Leifeld on the inside of it, and left it there.

Apparently, Mr. Leifeld was really pissed off when he saw what was written.

The funny thing is...I watched the clip; I would've never in my wildest dreams guessed that as really pissed off. Granted, it wasn't the best quality video, but even still..I wouldn't have guessed it was that.

Why am I posting this here? Well, you all tell me what you think:

He sort of looks a bit angry, when he turned his head.

I guess sort of a little bit; flummoxed in my eyes.

But good call, as it turns out he was a bit pissed, but trying to hold it back.

I just saw flummoxed more than anything else.

That is hilarious.
But no, I wouldn't have guessed he was pissed from the vid. Maybe if I got to see him closer I'd be able to tell, and if there was sound. Because I don't think most people like to show when they're mad, (even freaks like Liefeld*) so they don't make any gestures that can really be noticed from that distance.

*If anyone wants to defend him, please start by justifying this.

Perhaps Liefeld's not as upset as "our hero" would like to think.

Of all groups, we probably shouldn't be so quick to call anyone a freak. I hate Liefeld's work, but the publishers hire(d) him, and nobody forces anyone to buy it, yet hundreds of thousands have.

Would anyone here be impressed with this person if he sent one of us a copy of How To Make Friends And Influence People?
