Ok. So, i got all the official paperwork and stuff from my psych tests and all. It gives some info, but if anyone knows more any extra explanation would be cool.. Like what it means about AS severity or if my IQ tests show a normal pattern for someone with AS and ADHD.I know a lot of you on here know a lot more than me about this stuff.

There was also an ADHD test, but that was pretty self-explanatory.
It also says that in a previous evaluation i took a few years back for vocational rehab, features of Asperger's Disorder were identified but not reflected in final diagnosis(they had me as "Depressive Disorder NOS, Anxiety Disorder NOS, and Personality Disorder NOS.. lol).
It says that during the test i was exceptionally cooperative, task-focused, and energetic. It said that a heightened anxiety level was apparent intermittently during the evaluation, because i frquently rocked back and forth in my seat and asked for specific parameters about how i should answer questions. My social interactions with the examiner were characterized by an adequate level of conversational proficiency, intermittent eye contact, and occasionally smiling especially when positive comment were given about performance on particular items. And, although i did not initiate general conversation, i responded with good detail to questions about my previous school experience.
Diagnoses
-Asperger's Disorder
-Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder - Inattentive Type
-Generalized Anxiety Disorder
-Depressive Disorder NOS
GAF - 45
Um.. Yay?
Verbal Comprehension - 138
Perceptual Reasoning - 113
Working Memory - 102
Processing Speed - 111
Full Scale - 121
This WAIS-IV profile is quite similar to mine (main difference being that for me, processing speed was lowest and working memory was a bit higher in relation to other subscores). The large discrepancies from the highest to lowest is definitely typical of autism, which is often characterized by an uneven pattern of abilities. That your verbal comprehension was by far your highest (as was mine) means you would more likely be given a diagnosis of Asperger's-type autism, whereas you would probably have gotten a dx of classic autism if your verbal score was the lowest and your working memory or perceptual reasoning higher.

Interesting... like many Aspies, your verbal drags everything else up. Use that strength.
Check this out... a more obvious picture of verbal>visual I've never seen. Of your strengths, only the matrix reasoning doesn't depend on words. The digit span may be a reflection of your relatively low attention and working memory, not an intrinsic deficit... Question: Did they test you on it backwards and forwards? Did they test you with words? What happened there?

Yes, the digit span was tested backwards and forwards.. And then i think i had to list them in order or something, too. They didn't test me with a list of words, if that's what you mean. Hmm.. i dunno. I always thought i was good with visual stuff, because i like seeing something illustrated in a picture rather than figuring it out from what someone says. But, i dunno. lol.
Processing Speed - 111

I'm by no means a professional! So this is just based on personal expereince and research and some may be off. Just so you take that in mind when reading this.
Your scores in Block Design and Matrix Reasoning combined with your perceptual reasoning and processing speed point out (which are good, 3x almost and 1x clearly above average) that somehow you are still doing well, (unconscious) analysing and putting together details because you can do so very fast (visually).
Does that ring any bell for you or is that off target?
Speech is excellent as the others said. You can see that from
Similarities: Scaled- 18 Percentile- 99
Vocabulary: Scaled- 15 Percentile- 95
and a little/indirectly from this
because being asked questions verbally certainly depends on how well you understand them and the score is based on if you explain these correctly and typically.
Digit Span: Scaled- 9 Percentile- 37
These two relate to each other, working memory, your ability to keep something in mind for a short time and your Digit span, your ability to... well, keep digits in mind. Just like Callista explained too.
Arithmetic plays a little into that. Being able to calculate in your mind does depend on working memory among other things. It may be why it's 'just' 75 though that's actually good average! That's really good despite your ADHD!
Coding: Scaled- 12 Percentile- 75
These two relate to working memory (I think, I'm not sure right now) but definitely to processing speed. The faster you are, the better you are at these two. In my testing I also found out it's kind of important to keep the symbols for coding in mind for the minute or two and to be able to concentrate. But 75 is kind of good still, good average, nearing above average. You were fast on these tests?

I was shown the figures and graphs, but I didn't get them with me, which I regret because I love that kind of thing. But the gap between verbal and performance was huge. I remember there were three parts on the verbal scores and I had 18, 17 and 18. On the performance bit I had 11, 12 etc, except for the matrix which was 17. I think my total score was 143, but the numbers are left out of the final report and replaced with normal, high and exceptionally high. I did get the scores for the rating scales though.
Sorry, I know I'm OT, my head's just filled with this stuff and whatever it is that it means...
Guessing by telegraphing your scores you are looking for something and I am guessing you understand what you were told but want to publicize for some other reason but can't say why. IQ A FullScale score of 100 would get you enough brain power to interpret the scores so guessing you are looking for something else by posting here but what would that be .....????? Your level of cooperation suggests that you were really really really wanting to impress and please..... a people pleaser..maybe that is what you seek here too. You want to please and impress. It is good to fit in and want to please those around you. Being social and fitting into society is what makes society function. Lucky for you, you are very much average in terms of your IQ, even a bit above. Your score of 121 places you a wee bit above average or 115 which is the cutoff for flat on average. Your level of achievement as indicated by the W-J is similar. You are well within average range in terms of what you were able to derive from school. thankfully for you, your scores do not indicate ADHD although you are not particularly good at math. You self identify self stimulatory behaviors-those are not necessarily related to anxiety at all. What were you looking for by posting here? Hope the responders were helpful.

Jesus christ. I know what the basic scores mean. I know most people here have a higher IQ than me, so i'm not trying to impress anyone. I see people on here say their IQs are up around 150 and stuff, so if i was looking to impress someone it probably would have been a better idea to lie. I was looking for extra insight, like what others have given so far.. The scores were explained to me, but i just wanted to know if anyone here had extra insight, because i know some people here know a lot more than me about this scoring system. I mean, a few numbers in different categories aren't exactly giving me a good idea of how my brain functions. Like how the different things relate to my diagnoses. I've seen other people post scores from this sort of thing on here and it seemed like some people gave good extra info about how the scores related to the things they were diagnosed with and how it all fit together. I just wanted to see if anyone could give me more of that kind of information, along with if other people here got similar scores on things, anything like that. The ADHD diagnosis was in the same report as those results, so apparently someone thought something indicated ADHD. I never brought up ADHD to them, it wasn't ever mentioned about me prior to this test.. But i have said that things often slip my mind and that i have a hard time concentrating on things i'm not particularly interested in in school. I guess that's why i was tested for the ADHD, but on the questionairres that they gave me and my family, i scored high for inattentive type ADHD.
