...spend a morning at the hairdresser, followed by lunch with 'the girls' and an afternoon of clothes/shoe shopping.

Ignoring obvious stuff like parties, what's your idea of hell that most NTs your age would consider bliss?

Going to a corporate sports outing. I have never found these to be particularly enjoyable.

Going to the beach. Mostly because I hate sand.

Hmmm...Parties.

Ditto this! Doing anything or going anywhere with something called 'the girls' (my mom's idea of heaven)... shudder.

Also: A day at the spa. Wedding and baby showers. Having people over for dinner. Taking a trip to visit people (other than my son).

Baby showers. *shudders*

Going to a place with a DJ and dancing.

Definitely the beach. It's just nasty to me. The water is dirty and the sand is basically a giant liter box. You have the dirty ratbirds flying above pooping and swarming food on the ground that the dirty people are purposely feeding to them most of the time. Way too crowded most of the time as well. I just hate thinking about it. Luckily for me, there aren't too many beaches around here.

I'm not really a fan of the holidays either but I think that's pretty common.

Try and do a designated 'girly conversation'. I don't like opening up, getting in each others business, or microanalysing the opposite sex.

Put up with people discussing my appearance. Even in a admiring way. Not really their business, and so awwwkward.

Talk to my flatmates.

I like keeping my kitchen and bathroom pristine. So the list of things that fall below those activities is very, very long, and includes everything mentioned above on the thread, plus many things that others will likely add.

1. go to a party
2. talk to people I used to know, accept their fake interest in me & be all smiley
3. have to talk about how my day went r what I was doing over my vacation (with family, friends or teachers, etc.)
4. Smell eggs or ham (makes me nauseous) so don't even get me started about considering eating it...
5. talk with strangers (especially if my mom says "oh I think he/she's an aspie go talk to him/her" ) Leave me ALONE please!
6. wash dishes with a sponge (hate sponges/real ones are dead animals as a sample of random info)
7. touching anyone (I mean anyone/my exceptions have been very limited to whom & under what circumstances that this may change (someone has to be crying or having a breakdown of some kind for me to change this))

p.s. I like the beach (ocean, sand & all so long as it isn't in my suit) except for the removing dry sand from your feet thing . If you like me hate removing dry sand with your hands or a towel, try using a semi-rough or smooth stone.

...have my nails done

...or any other things in that "spa treatment" category. Yuck, yuck, double yuck!

Going to a bar and flirting. XD;; Does not sound appealing in any way.
Also going dancing.
Mostly these things just sound monotonous and un-fun.

And man, you guys have not been to the right beaches. They're never crowded around here, you can walk for miles and see like two people, LOL. And it's clean. Except for all the sand, of course. XD;; You just have to be careful to shake everything off and turnout your pockets before you get back to your car/house/tent.
