I love the Onion!!
This is a great one.
(Aspergers is mentioned at the end, I won't spoil it)
Although as someone who has clinical depression I can understand how some may be offended by this topic...
But The Onion makes fun of everyone and everything, in a good way. Don't take it seriously, have a laugh.

I'll add this new one too, they are trying to convince a smart kid that he's autistic:

Yeah, but it's messed up in a good way. It's nice to see somebody pointing out just how stupidly they treat "special" kids. I have a feeling a lot of us "special" kids would be up there saying, "But there's nothing wrong with me! I'm just autistic!"

I did make it to the state spelling bee, though. Without studying. So am I a savant now? :)

(Answer: No. Hyperlexic.)

Those were great! I had seen the one with the kid before. I have ADD but I loved the skit they did years ago with Garret Morris being the interpreter for the ADD on a news cast. I wonder if it's on YouTube.

AS at the end of the first vid. X-D

The interviewers of the second video are the classic example of when people close to you (ie can't get away from) take there assumptions as fact and don't believe what you tell them.

don't get me wrong, the second one was good and I understood the point, it just felt too real and made me feel kind of sick. even though I kept telling myself they're actors and the kid is playing a part, he was too good at it and I wanted to jump in kicking and yelling at the mean grown-ups to shut up and listen to him.

I know. Me too. We're kind of close to the situation, I think... kind of the way a guy who just got mugged might feel hearing the parable of the good samaritan.

Fun stuff, though the "interview" with James brought back some unfun memories. I was the one kid in my elementary school selected to go into a special program because of my intelligence. Teachers and students in my school did not treat me better. I got lectured about my "absence" from regular classes, ignored (even more) by other kids, physically attacked and verbally abused, etc. It didn't help when I was picked again the next year...

LMFAO, the second one is so awesome. XD XD
Also, I would like to know how to recession-proof my deck. *rolls*

"James if you wanna howl or pound your head against something you just go ahead and do it" :lmao:
I know it's acted but I feel like cringing for that kid

Why did they say that Joe Biden has Aspergers? What's the connection?

The second clip was funny. The adults caused the very thing they expected.

Well Biden is seen as very arrogant and prone to offensive, shocking, and weird gaffes. (such as telling a voter in a town hall meeting that he has a much higher IQ than them, asking a person in a wheelchair to stand up and be recognized, adding to the panic about swine by saying he would tell his family not to go on airplanes or subways or whatever) From his time in the senate he was known to be very long winded as well.

I thought that was very funny (both of them). It took 20 minutes to load, but it was worth it! (I passed the time by playing my new DS game)

Yay! Glad others liked them.
It's worthwhile to visit their page and watch ALL their videos. There are so many GEMS in there if you like this type of comedy.
Way better than SNL, Mad TV, and other mainstream TV crapolla. Onion Youtube
(But, can be very UN-PC, so if you like things to be PC, then I guarantee you will be offended.)
Comedic genius, and very good acting. Some of them seem like they could be real newscasts.
I heart the onion very much.

Some of my other faves:
