...take embarrassment in stride

...memorize entire Broadway musicals

...be totally unapologetic about your autism

Go to a concert and stare intensely at stage lights.

Know the exact type of stage lights and make a sarcastic comment about the lack of fresnels.

Want a 'I don't do small talk' shirt

Use your amazing reasoning and deductive powers to suss out social situations before you let yourself in for them.

...throw an online forum party for a member just diagnosed with AS, with about a hundred Aspies going into the thread to say "Congratulations on your wonderful achievement!".

...master and use in everyday conversation all the scientific jargon, and be up to date on the latest developments in research of each - DSM, ASD, OCD, NLD, ADHD, NT, HFA, LFA, nonverbal, prosopagnosia, neurodiversity, Aspieness, stims, hand-flapping, verbal delay, visio-motor, visio-spatial, soft skills, etc. etc.

...start a thread for the cool Aspies to discuss whether the test of the eye expressions should include the nose in the pictures or not.

... to decide the day before your father's wedding to play the Bridal Waltz on the piano, but because of not having time or opportunity to practise, you spend all night figuring out in your mind exactly how to play the melody, which accords to use when (without any piano, other instrument, or other means of help), and then be able to play it (almost) flawlessly at the very first attempt on the very day where they are going to dance to it.

(I did that 11 years ago, and first now I realised that it might be very aspie-like; what do you think?).

It's traditionally played at weddings in Denmark, where the bridal couple dances to it surrounded by the clapping guests.

..... stress over going somewhere so much that you get completely prepared and on the day of the event decide not to go and instead relax, which you later semi-regret because there may have been a 10% chance the event may have been enjoyable. Later to realize your just being too positive and originally made the right decision in not going - and prudently scarfing down the side-dish you purchased for the party, patting yourself on the stomach and laughing about how dumb people are to ever leave the house.
