I'm obsessed with Routemasters, Late 1950s London, Cockneys, Swingning London/Carnaby Street and Austin Powers. Do any of my Obsessions seem eccentric?

The Austin Powers obsession is the only one I can understand . Im not sure I
understand what the other things mean. While I understand the Austin Powers
obsession I feel you should try to see the true criminal master mind of our age:

DR EVIL!! ! Now that obsession I can enjoy.

I don't think these even fall into the realm of obsessions. This is just your personal style, the motifs you've used to establish your identity, the color scheme used in your (psychic) house. And it's very groovy, baby!

You have to do what makes you happy in life, do your obsessions make you feel good? If so then hey, its not like you're harming anyone, in fact your obsessions are knida cool :D

I don't think they're eccentric. They're just your chosen interest.

I was a bit stuck for words when someone said my fascination with medical things sounded like a fetish, and they said I may be a necrophiliac ... 8O

I have spent the last week learning the names of the crowned heads of Europe. Not exactly a useful pursuit for an American.

No odder than an obsession with linguistics is in a fifteen-year-old.

No, those aren't really strange. Then again, where do we draw the line between what is strange and what isn't? There is no definate line, in reality.

My obsessions, as of now:

- Marilyn Monroe (this one seems to be dieing down now, and will probably dissapear soon.)

- Batman Begins

- Superman Returns (although I didn't like it.)

- Star Wars

Batman Begins was a good movie, even if Morgan Freeman was underutilized.

The Star Wars website (starwars.net, I believe) is a great site for SW addicts.

I have some interests that people might say were a little strange. Am I bothered? Not really - I just tend not to disclose them. :)

Eccentric and Unusual? Yes.
But it's definitely not a bad thing.

I wouldn't want to hang around very long with people that are not Eccentric I don't think, because I can't see them as being particularly interesting.

I can't see anything wrong with an interest in any of these.
