I have noticed that I get very anxious when something that is a favorite show of mine is about to be on. And when I actually watch it, I get a huge adrenaline rush, like a feeling of ice spreading out from the center of my body and giving me a shiver.

Anyone else get that with something they like?

NCIS, the titles, ( not the newest/most recent ones but the first/oldest two ), because the faces are so wonderful, and the music so exhilarating. I totally get the feeling you describe. I used to get it with CSI aswell, and SG-1 ( Stargate SG-1 series ). :)

All the time. Especially when something critical is about to happen in the story, like Carlota almost telling Paloma Macarena is her mother in En Nombre del Amor, and that Ma~ana Es Para Siempre only has one more week to go!! ! I get so excited. Eduardo decided to tell the truth, and everyone putting together a plan to rescue Liliana, and Barbara finding out Fernanda has been in touch with Aurora. Whew!

So much, sometimes I'm a bit exhausted when it's over, just from the emotion and suspense from them.

I get it with:

He-man (old skool 1983-85 series)
She-ra (1986)
M.A.S.K. (1985)
Transformers (1984-87)
Buck Rogers (1979-81)
Old Skool Battlestar Galactica (1979-80)
Knight Rider (1980s)
Airwolf (1980s)
Star Trek The Next Generation
The Superfriends (1970s-80s)
Blackstar (1981)
Tarzan (1979)
The Get-Along Gang (1984)
Pole Position (1980)
Cybersix (1990s)
Bucky O' Hare and the Toad Wars (1990s)
GI Joe (1985)
Legend of Zelda cartoon (as part of Super Mario Bros. Super show, late 80s)
The A-Team (1980s)
Gummi Bears (1980s)
Chip N' Dale's Rescue Rangers (1990s)
Gargoyles (1990s)
Perry Mason (1950s-60s)
Magnum, P.I. (1980s)
Murder, She Wrote (1980s)
Simon & Simon (1980s)
Rockford Files (1970s)
Maverick (series starring James Garner)
Law & Order
CSI Miami
Wonder Woman (1980s)
Greatest American Hero (1980s)

The major thrill is with the theme songs. Although the shows themselves elicit the same response.

Heck, I can even get it while thinking about a particular theme song.

The following video games also make this response:
Zelda for NES
Final Fantasy for NES
Zelda II the Adventure of Link for NES
Super Mario World for SNES
Gradius III for SNES
Secret of Mana (SNES)
Final Fantasy IV for PS (II for SNES)
Final Fantasy VI (III for SNES)
Final Fantasy VII (PS)
Final Fantasy VIII
Final Fantasy IX
FInal Fantasy XII (PS2)

Particularly the battle and boss battle themes for the Final Fantasy series...I like to play these on CD in my car.

I'm not so sure, but if I see a reference to one of my favourite TV shows in another TV show or movie, I get very excited and my heart beats fast.

Oh yeah, I love that stuff too! Better than a lot of stuff on the radio if you ask me.

Yep. I get this rush of pleasure when I watch a TV show/movie that I like. Sometimes I bounce up and down while sitting.

Interesting I get excited over a show alot but more so with movies (months/years in advance LOL!) then I'm counting down to the DVD release after seeing it in theaters Ya for Digital Copies (legally!! !! and not spending another $15ish to put it onto my ipod) :-) The announcement of Super Mario Galaxy 2 I was hyperventilating!! ! breathing very hard and my heart was pounding out of my chest LOL!
