Stats of LFA vs HFA?

Does anyone know what percentage of the autism population have low functioning autism vs HFA/Asperger's?

1/4 of those with AD are HFA. All of those with AS are considered to have a form of HFA.

AD and AS are roughly equal in prevalence....

So, that's not too far from 50/50 for LFA and HFA.

It changes when you throw in PDD-NOS, and far more will be "higher-functioning" then.
