I have never done so on my own. I would walk until my feet bleed.

No offense, do you think mentally or physically? Physically I'm disturbed a little when I have to take a bus for a longer time than half an hour. As a child I used to feel my stomach so disturbed when traveling by car we had to stop so I could vomit... (sorry)

On bus, choose a seat at about 1/3 the distance between the rear and front wheels afore the rear wheels, the least stressful part of a typical bus.

I can normaly go on a bus to somewhere but not back from the place which makes bus travel pointless.

yes this is my worst fear.

I literally have walked 1-2hours back and forth across my city rather than use a bus

Guess I'm in the minority--I actually enjoy taking the bus, often far more than getting a ride with someone because I don't have to talk with anyone if I don't want to--I can just sit back and decompress.

Good thing--I need two buses to get to and from work. 8O

My biggest issue with it is how noisy it gets, but I've learned to shut it out so it becomes "white noise." This makes conversation VERY difficult, if not impossible, so there's another reason I don't "have to" talk with anyone--I can't understand what they're saying.

I prefer not to do it during rush hour as I sometimes get really claustrophobic. Normally, however I can take the bux and actually like it.

Because I can't drive, I only wish I had a train or bus to take. But in the city, yes I've found it very difficult. I get confused with directions and putting my trust into a driver is hard. I had one driver that went by my stop. I had a very hard time communicating with him. He was drunk and not in the right state of mind. Anything unpredictable scares me and I think the bus in some ways presents more unpredictable obstacles than if I were riding with a family member or someone I knew.

I don't like public transportation, but I grew up in Chicago, so I'm conditioned to it. If I use noise cancelling headphones it's not that bad. When I was little I used to freak out when we'd go in the tunnels, because that was the noisiest part. I also hate when it's rush hour and there are strangers standing too close to me. I get really crabby.

On the plus side, public transportation is a great place to people watch. You see all sorts, and it's fun to study what they're doing. Kinda like animals in a zoo. People watching is good social practice.

I have never tried taking on a bus or train for that matter. I imagine they would be pretty hard, since people can die from taking on a bus or train. Even with multiple people i do not believe you can take on a bus/train they are just too hard.

I don't LIKE taking the bus, but I do it several days a week. I have no problem reading the schedules--I am not good at finding my way around places and figure out how and when buses link up, which way is the quickest, or the least busy, etc. Sometimes I do have sensory issues on the bus though. Noise is often an issue, so I always have an MP3 player with me. I don't always use it (ie. when I am reading), but if I am not reading and/or it is really noisy, I put the music on to try and tune myself into my own world. While generally impossible to avoid, I also do not like sitting next to people because I have sensory issues with light touch, and I don't want people to put their arms and legs gently on me. I also cannot tolerate standing, though sometimes I don't have a choice. This is because I have poor strength in my arms and my hands and terrible balance. I find it very difficult to stand on a crowded bus.

I had problems with people sitting next to me in the past too, but I got used to it. Except when their smell irritates me (strong odors too). One of my whims is when the passenger sitting behind me pushes his legs (knees) to the back of my seat, varies it, it's just plain annoying.

Usually I'm fine with timetables, if I'm unsure, I ask someone on cellphone to give me advice. On long travels I carry by myself a book or newspaper that I try to read although I'm not always able to. I can't sleep on buses or trains while they're moving.

The buses what?
Bus
Plural of bus = buses
Belonging to the bus = bus’s.
For example
The bus’s seats were uncomfortable
Or
I waited and two buses came at once.
