I've always supported Tom and Coyote. I used to love Tom and Jerry, and I always got pissed at Jerry. I mean, Tom is trying to do his job as a house cat, and this stupid mouse keeps hurting him. XD Same with Coyote. the poor guy needs to eat!

What about Sylvester? He gets plenty of food -- his owner spoils him rotten! I don't see why he needs to pick on Tweetie-Pie.

It's hard to feel sorry for the Coyote. He had enough money and resources to order all of the Acme stuff - you'd think he could order some KFC or Chicken Chop Suey for delivery????

I've always supported Jerry & Coyote.
The coyote had a reason to catch the roadrunner... he's hungry.
Tom on the other hand, just seems like a bully who likes to pick on mice. I know that there are some Tom & Jerry episodes where Tom actually does want to eat Jerry, but for the most part he just seems to enjoy making Jerry suffer.
As for Sylvester & Tweety, I support Sylvester. Tweety always annoyed the crap out of me.

but Jerry is ALWAYS the one being mean. if he wouldnt leave the cheese and just go live in a field like he was supposed, everyone would be ok.

If you ask me, living in a field has more disadvantages than living in a house. There's less food, fewer places to hide, and a lot more predators to worry about. If I were Jerry, I'd much rather be in a house with walls to hide in, a kitchen to raid, and only one cat to put up with.

I think Tom and Jerry should work together, like Garfield does with his mice. It'd be an altogether better arrangement.

But isn't that the way it always is? People compete for scarce resources, instead of reaching agreements, and in the end the only result is all-out war.

He explained this in a cartoon, actually. Apparently, there's absolutely nothing in the world that tastes better than Roadrunner. The Coyote is basically a connoisseur after the ultimate gastronomic sensation.

I didn't know you had to take sides. I always just enjoyed the slapstick for its own sake.

.

If memory serves, Tom and Jerry become friends in the film and work together to help a homeless girl called Robyn.
