I went into the News forum on this site (Boy with Autism Saves Teachers Life) and from there I went to aspieweb website. Here it looked like the page was closed down and replaced by what I think is a suicide note. I searched for the forum to see if there was any story behind it but to no avail. Should I be concerned?

Yes, I am concerned. I have never been to that site, but it looks serious to me. I think that is AspieFireMan. I have been concerned over him. Please, if anyone knows anything here, keep us up to date. And AspieFireMan, if you read this, please talk to us---we care.

There have been several threads about it in The Haven... It's an ongoing issue..
Many people are very concerned.

It is Aspiefireman- this is his third note-I'm especially concerned because the other times he was still communicating with people on his blog. Now everything is blocked off. Last time someone contacted the police in Kalamazoo. Hopefully the same person who visits his blog will do that again. I don't know what transpired but I know he mentioned later talking to a relative of Kate's, who may have been contacted by the police. I believe he is entirely serious and is just trying to work up the courage. He needs to be hospitalized- he is very ill. I hope the world doesn't lose this big hearted kid.

Yeah, but this is serious. I don't believe he has concocted his situation just to get attention. I had a childhood friend who used to threaten suicide so often people stopped listening, but she did in fact kill herself.

I would advise keeping that opinion to yourself. Suicide is not something to be made light of, nor would it be the first time someone from this site has committed such.

I saw the note last night. If someone does know where he lives (I don't), calling the police would be a good idea. He's got a lot going on right now, it seems, and he needs help.

Unfortunately, people DO pull stunts like this to get attention. It's something that just needs to be accepted. I think the best thing to do is not jump to conclusions, and hope for the best.

People do. However, that is never something you should say when someone is (at least apparently) considering suicide. You wouldn't call them a pig, would you? So don't call them a drama whore either. It's harmful.

Aimless - I'm glad to hear that.

Clearly the guy has been through a tough time. Last time we conversed on WP we clashed because he doesn't know is someone is sticking up for him or not, unless it is 100% on his message. Then the was the whole issue of threatening to sue WP. The guy is passionate you have to admit.

I did read a bit about the fatherhood situation. I get the impression the family could have handled it a bit better than that. A complete separation is harsh to say the least. I think this set a very low expectation for him, when in reality many soon to become father are less prepared than him, but the get support and at leas have a chance to be a part of the child life. It seems that he has been the impression that he has no business being apart of it, I question whether the people involved in the position are right to do this and are acting lawfully.

me too. only a court has the right to terminate parental rights. it's certainly a complicated situation and I'm sure we only know part of the story. it's impossible to understand completely what another person's struggle is and it would be a mistake for anyone to assume they do.

Did I say or imply he was commiting suicide, No! nor do I wish this on anyone, but having
seen some of his antics in the past I just don't buy anything zach has to say, if I am wrong
fine I don't give a rats ass, as I said Rainsong its my opinion, and you can have yours.

No, you said that his suicide note was a ploy for attention and site promotion, which is insulting, harmful, and quite frankly, negligent. Do if you don't think he's serious, fine, but don't kick him while he's down.

Who's Kicking, I am only my opinion on the situation, I am not getting my panties
in a bunch over him, if it was anyone else then maybe I would have some empathy
I am growing bored with this so don't reply back
