Being the nerd that I am, this Friday night I was doing some research on abnormal psychology: paranoia and Asperger's syndrome this time around. I found a particularly informative academic dissertation: Von Wendt, Taina Nieminen. On the origins and diagnosis of Asperger syndrome: a clinical, neuroimaging and genetic study. 3 Dec. 2004: University of Helsinki. 11 Feb. 2006 <http://ethesis.helsinki.fi/julkaisut/laa/kliin/vk/nieminen-wendt/ontheori.pdf>.

Particularly interesting is a summary of much of the current research on Asperger's syndrome such as differention with high-functioning autism (22-24) and Lorna Wing and Gould's categorization of individuals with autism and Asperger's syndrome into "the aloof group," "the passive group," "the active but odd group," and "the over-formal stilted group" (15).

I fit into the last catergory, formal and stilted.

I don't smoke, don't drink, hate swearing and love formal controlled, organised situations. :)

Wow, it's very long. Looks really interesting though. I have printed it off to read later. Thank you for posting the link.
