I am off to my first party in AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAges tonite, with my family and I am actually looking forward to it.

The host is a lovely man as is his family and he throws this party every year.

If you are off to a party or even just 'celebrating' Halloween in a quieter way, I hope you have a really nice time.

This is my first party since discovering that I have Asperger's so this is going to be interesting.

It is my first opportunity to practice my newly acquired self awareness and some of the very simple behaviour modifications that I have been practicing.

Oh...........and I wont be drinking a drop of alcohol.............I have enough to cope with just being me!

I was going to a sleepover and then he cancelled it because not enough people made a RSVP.

I stayed at home watching a lame Halloween movie eating candy and drinking alcohol. Although I would have went out had I not felt sick. No tick or treaters stopped by so that means more candy for me. I feel sick now...a different kind of sick to the sick I was feeling before.

I want to wish everyone a very safe and Happy Halloween. I can't wait for all the little treaters to come by and show off their costumes. I have glow sticks for the little babies, boxes of animal crackers for the toddlers and lots of candy for the kids. I do all the decorating in advance so my kids can get used to it and for the neighbors dog to smell everything so he is not nervous. I like talking to th little oneswho really 'act' like their costume and I get down to their level and we have nice, polite short talks. I think it's also kind of ironic that I love Halloween so much but don't like horror movies, I laugh all the time at that.

Heppy Halloween!
I've seen Paranormal Activity with a friend, and it was a little bit disappointing but still pretty scary.

I have to work all afternoon and evening. so I basically miss the occasion.
My son gets to go off with his mom to a trick-or-treat party thing that her friends are doing.
so that's good.

Thank you Blindspot, and happy halloween to yourself as well! I hope your party is a lot of fun!

I'm going to be taking the kiddos out trick or treating, but can't let them have all of the fun of dressing up. I think I'm more excited about that part than they are, lol... it's 3:00 and I have my makeup stuff on already, won't let them touch theirs, lol. They are so mad at me.... I tell them it's because they are messy eaters and will mess it all up if they have it on before eating, and I'm not, so it's okay for me to have it on. Which is part true, but I just really really like dressing up!
