...that they couldn't think logically?

I knew someone who did it a lot and it really offended me. Anybody else ever have this problem?

I have never had anyone say it, but can see where it would be possible... Just as my mind keeps me awake at night trying to figure things out, sort them into categories, make sure things are done in a step by step process and all of that... basically my mind pulls me to and fro collecting information constantly, or utilizing information learned, lol.

I can imagine someone with an overwhelming emotional response to things would not be able to slow the mind enough to think about things rationally.

...or do you mean that somebody told you that YOU don't think logically? I've had that happen as well simply because the other person didn't understand my reasoning behind things and claimed I was making things way too hard on myself.

Confused by your question the same way Anxiety25 was.

I've never been told I don't think logically. People have told me that I'm "Book smart, but not street smart". My brother used to reply to me saying "What are you, ret*d?" a few times. Obviously he wasn't serious but just questioning what I said.

I'm pretty sure I think logically. Spock would approve.

 My very AS-ish partner/friend...loves to rant about how illogical I am.
He is just as capable of being illogical as I am...I have gotten used to his rants as being a form of stimming.

Sorry about the confusing wording. Someone had told me that I couldn't think logically. I think part of it is I'm very emotional.

I can understand that. Usually people that are too emotional are seen as thinking with emotions more than logic. Does that make sense? My mum gets carried away with her emotions whereas I sort a problem out with logical thinking, thus get less emotionally overwhelmed.
