If I try to be my regular happy self I tend to upset family (It usually falls into the category of laughing with the kids getting into trouble an issue I brought up as much as the College one LOL!) then I just walk the other way or whatever. Or perhaps I state my opinion and it's wrong for example: I said darn my sister didn't have steak sauce for the steaks tonight. My dad said I need to stop criticizing. :-( I'm ALWAYS saying or DOING SOMETHING WRONG!! !! !! !! !! Or I'm emotional over something and crying and I say I'm fine mom yells at me then storms out of the room SHEESH!

My family is overprotective and treats me like a little kid, so I don't face it with them. My family's friends are on my family's side, which means on my side as well so I don't face that with them either.

But now that I am out on my own I do face these issues with almost everyone I get to know.
