Just to give people some idea of possible, cheapest, accomodation costs;
The Accor hotel chain "Formule 1" is offering a hotel room, ( but no breakfast ), on the outskirts of Coventry, England, for £26 a night, ( for one to two/three people ), and in Strasbourg for 31 € the night, again for one to two/three people, at Easter. But the toilets and showers are in the corridor.
The chain Premiere Classe is offering a room, ( no breakfast ), for one to two/three, in Strasbourg, with bathroom, for 35 € the night, at Easter. But the cheapest chain hotels are often located in commercial zones outside the towns.
Two years ago the very cheapest room in a UK B+B that I was able to find, ( with family ) was £50 the night, ( but full "english" breakfast for three was included ). I think that there were a few/rare rooms at £30/£35, but all pretty isolated, and already booked up.
Those prices are all for the room, not per person.
