I have been told i look 'angry' more often than not.

Do you think looking angry can also have a negetive impact on our lives as aspies?

Yes.
Lots of people's default face is angry.
Mine is just vacant.
Although, it's not exclusive to aspies.

I'm told I look angry a lot. But much of that time I'm just churning away in my thoughts. It causes problems because it get misinterpreted.

My default expression is "a bit annoyed", but it has nothing to do with what's going on behind it.

I've been told I look angry, too.

It can have a negative impact. I try to smile more than I used to.

My friends call it a perma scowl and I have it all the time. Mostly because I am angry most of the time.

I have 'the psycho look', 'the depressed look' and 'the stoned look'. They are my 3 default expressions. I do get people telling me to 'cheer up' a lot of the time for no apparant reason.

It is because you look depressed. I get this a lot as well. It actually is the most frustrating thing I have to deal with while working. It makes me want to hit people I wish they would just mind there own bussiness. What is the worst thing about it is regardless of if I am angry or not why do people have to but in. It is not like I am going to tell a stranger what is going on with me anyway. Dumb asses.

I've had people tell me a lot that I look annoyed or something, although it's only true half the time. :P

RabbiTears: Not sure what a "psycho look" would look like.

Yeah, that. My family has an annoying habit of breaking me out of a nice & relaxing 50' stare by waving a hand in my face and asking if anyone's in.
Oh, how we laughed...

I usually have a dower expression on my face, and people are constantly asking me if I'm sad and they keep telling me to cheer up.

You just made me see my name in a completely different way, it just made me think of a Rabbi crying. I'd never thought of it that way before.

Basically, the 'Psycho look' just looks furious yet somewhat 'cold' and vacant, quite hard to explain I guess.

My wife always thinks I am angry whenever I am reading or thinking. Because I spend 95% percent of my waking hours reading or thinking, it doesn't turn out well.

I do look happy when I am smiling, or telling a joke, or eating.

But If I am in regular mode, I look angry.

I think a lot of people hate me because of it.

If they don't say anything about it, I don't care.

If they have a problem with it, f k em.

I always think of the double meaning of his name whenever I see it, so I had to say it at least once somewhere.
