I mean to say more about other stuff but may not have time now but a thing about me is that , to therapist/worker types , I am not really known as a AU person/Aspie , though I've mentioned it a little bit . I'm known more as homeless , etc. . I do mention my status to the hospitals I've been in (as those who follow me may know) a lot , but just a while back , I brought up my AS-ness to my worker , and he said " I thought I saw some autistic..." .
Frankly , he's a bit schizzy (maybe non-PC/outdated phrase there) & not always that helpful .
I did not eat all day , IIRC , yesterday (Sun.) ~ my choice , I could have got up and dressed and got something but it seemed I needed to catch up on sleep , plus that " lead/mercury " was , I think , getting to me (I could have something happen that could , anyway , alleviate??/reduce it) .
My basic living space has been REALLY limited , even more so now that I'm crippled .

...Here in SF , Market Street is in the center of the city , sometimes called " The Slot " and my life rather revolves around: Core: About 3d Street to 12th Street , horizontally , and a couple blocks up/down within there , vertically ~ And , further extending this line to about the Embarcadero on one end and Castro Street at the other end , REALLY about 90%/-plus?? of my life is spent in this small area ! !! Hoo boy .
I meant to say something about " doppelganger " in the original headline ~ I mentioned being picked on/nearly thrown out of the nearby Goodwill story because an employee ther took me as some person who had , apparently , done wrong there and been banned and he tried to throw me out ~ Well , t'other nite , the same happened to me at the big downtown Walgreen's , a Sercurity employee trying to throw me out , saying I was banned there or similar ~ WTF ???
And WHAT will I do if I am banned from there/don't go to any of the umpteen Walgreens' near me , where I but tons of my day-to-day stuff ...Especially since " imdie-er " stores are tending to be further upphill now not on Market Street real estate ~ You know , being crippled and all ?

How old were you when you were diagnosed? Were you still in school? By the way, congratulations. It sounds like your school records have been found, according to that post by meistersinger.

I heard you weren't good recently (health) are you okay now? i was really worried, glad to see you back on the site and presumably more well.

i think you can use google maps or something similar, it could locate a store or such nearby for you.

...Answering all , I am recovering from what happened , I do think the excessive light and that - stuff - that makes me groggy at the place is a real problem , I have very little posting time to-day so I'm pounding this out quickly .

...Anne and Rand , I was DX'd in my 40s . My health is ~ well , could be worse but I am still on a crtch (one somehos - I was supposed to have two) disappeared , and a brace - And I do think that " lead/mercury " at my place is a worry for me , and , really , though I think it's good that I walk , I walk too much , to get out to use a computer for a MAJOR factor .
