Does anyone here let their psychologists know they post on WrongPlanet? I told mine my WP name and what my avatar looks like. Perhaps he can find something to talk about in case I forget to bring it up. 8)

Yeah, I have, but I don't think he thought much if anything about it.

I told all the psychs i've seen since I started posting on WP. In fact, I printed out alot of my posts (and many responses to them) and gave them to neuropsych I saw in June. I believe he read them all and he made a few comments about them. I doubt any of them are interested enough to actually come to WP and read my posts though.

I kinda hope they haven't anyway. I've written a few things about psychologists in general which they may find displeasing.

The therapist i'm seeing now is nice, but there's some things i'm embarrassed to talk to her about. She's about 25 y/o and VERY cute. I get nervous talking about anything related to sexuality with cute girls. She brought up sexually-related topics last week and I became very uncomfortable and started to sweat. I'm sure she noticed and I was totally embarassed.

I think you need to work with someone else. You need someone you can talk to about anything.

I told the psychologist I have been seeing in the past that I have joined an online autism community. I didn't say the name, because I thought it wasn't important. I wouldn't tell anyone the name unless they are on the spectrum and have either already joined the site, or may be interested in the site.

I CAN talk to her about anything. It just makes me nervous to do so. She seems to understand the source of my nervousness and tries to make me feel comfortable.

Just last week, I gave my psychologist a printed copy of one of my WP posts because one reply was very pertinent to what we were discussing.

I told her that I'm on here.

As far as printing stuff out goes, never done that. I did bring in a diary entry once because getting it on paper was hard enough, I didn't want to have to say it. Of course, she couldn't read my writing.

Well that would imply that I had a psychologist in the first place. 8)

I'm not seeing a psychologist now, but I do tell my parents about everything that goes on here.

I wasn't on WP when seeing all those "specialists." I don't tell anyone about what I post here. Only one of me IRL friends is a member here and she doesn't mention anything about it either, unless it's a question regarding a change in the layout of the site or something. :/

That's the same response I got out of my therapist---when I was seeing one.
