I didn't start thinking about how routine my life was until I realized that each morning that I wake up I already feel an uncanny sense of deja-vu. Basically its get up, get dressed, quick breakfast, Work (and a repetitious job at that), raid the fridge when I get home, sit my arse in front of comp doing one frivolous thing or another until dinner, dinner, watch TV (Either Law & Order, CSI, or Seinfeld), brush teeth, shower, bed. Repeat. Same goes for weekends, minus the 8 hours of Work and the TV. I just fill that space in with more activity in front of the computer. And no, I have no social life.

Wow, isn't my life so exciting :P

CRACK, I understand what you're saying, my life was just like yours about a month ago. Then I quit my job and my life changed and now I sleep longer hours then I did, speak to friends daily over the internet, maybe meet up with them every couple of weeks and in between all that eat, play computer games and sleep some more whilst looking for jobs or a chance of doing a Masters. My life is not what you'd call regular.

My last job certainly felt like that.

I have to say although i welcome routine I hate complacency and repitition. If i had the money and the means I would be off travelling again i think it would be an ideal lifestyle for me to be some kind of traveller/hobo :P

My life is extremely routined although really only in the getting up in the morning bit. I do the same thing every morning regardless of when I wake up, and then add the things I attend at the same time every week and my life seems to be run by routines. The weekends and evenings change a little but I'll always do things around the same time - especially with dinner, if I start eating at a different time or eating a different food I make myself sick. There is alot of leeway for social outings and homework and stuff, it's just whatever needs doing gets done whenever it can and if I want to go out then I sacrifice some things and go out.
