I've noticed that if I trawl through my list of symptoms that a large amount centre around security/ survival (see list below) - has anybody noticed any themes in their Aspie lives?

Quiet baby (didn't want to draw attention to self/ observant)

Aloof (selfish/ unsociable - not wanting to share (distrustful of others))

Muscular tension (always on the alert - never relaxed)

Panic attacks

Avoiding eye contact/ indirect speech (avoiding conflict)

Home lover (fear of going out/ worries about others)

Meticulous planner and note taker (afraid of forgetting things/ making mistakes)

Tight clothing/ shoes (fear of things falling off/ down)

OCD (fear of catching things)

Food fads/ intolerances (sticking rigidly to safe foods and avoiding anything that upsets the tummy, just like I avoid anything that upsets me emotionally too)

Probably other items that I might not have thought of or interpreted in this way because I didn't/ don'y see the connection, even if there is one
