Do you tell the same old jokes over and over again to the same people, even though they've already heard them ? And I mean you just need to tell them that joke. That joke you've already told 100s of times. Literally.

That's what comedians do all the time basically.

I find it very hard to remember jokes except for one I memorised from a book when I was 7. When I do tell other jokes I've heard, I never tell it right and instead say it all wrong so no one understands...

I find it even harder to understand the funny side of jokes told to me - most of the time I just think, "Huh???" and try to laugh when everyone else laughs so that I won't be called blonde (which I am, so that doesn't help).

For some reason, I just have a complete inability to remember jokes. Strange, because I do enjoy stand-up comedy.

Hello, dear friend!! !!

Yes, my joke is:

"What do you call a woman with a toothpick in her eye,
-Olive!"

My apologies if no-one gets it........but it cracks me up every time. My morbid sense of humour......

I also quote Monty Python loudly if I am stressed, over and over......

"GET THEE A SHRUBBERY!! !! !!"

Take care........and who cares if you tell the same joke.......as long as you are having a good time. :D Thats all that matters.

I certainly have subjected you all to a lot of my bad jokes.

I like Monty Python too.

"Find the biggest tree in the forest. And cut it, with a herring!"
"Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!"

I also like their subtle word jokes. Or when someone tries to jump over the Canal and fails miserably.

No. I almost never repeat jokes that other people tell; my humour is largely wordplay and seeing the absurd or weird in everyday life. 8)

I'm terrible at telling jokes because I always add an explenation as I'm telling it, or I use a word that wasn't used when I heard the joke and then I have to correct it and end up breaking the rhythm.

So no, I don't repeat jokes. I'm very mindfull about repeating myself in person, as I hate doing it.

I say the same joke over and over again, but I think it's only when I want a conversation and don't know how to start it:

Knock Knock
Who's there ?
Doctor
Doctor Who?
You know me too well

Of course that may be something to do with my Doctor Who obsession...

I love them, and Terry Gilliam, even when they make no sense whatsoever. Albatross anyone?

Don't worry they will come soon enough, they always do. Anyway I was at a shrink about a week ago and when he asked me about suicidal thoughts I told him I sometimes think about going to the top of the arch and sliding down. He took me very seriously and issued a suicide hot line at the end of the session.
