I'm looking for a belt... for my capris. I need one to wear to keep them up but the belts cut into my waist when I sit down... I'm a bit chubby and this also doesn't help. I think its a clothing sensitivity or something but...

Does anyone know of any belts that will work and don't cut into my skin or my waist? My mom always complains because my capris fall down and tells me to wear a belt. At times I almost want to melt down because I can't wear them or they are too tight...

any ideas?

There are belts made from thick fabric that have a snap-clasp instead of a normal buckle, so it does not have fixed holes and is easy to adjust. The fabric feels comfortable, especially if it is a wide belt. The design is common in military uniforms, but they also come in lots of other colours.

Those belts are great except the buckles. I find they cut through fabric & dig right into my skin. I have all kinds of tops with holes in them at belt level. I would look for some kind of soft fabric with a rounded buckle without sharp metal edges. Sometimes leather is nice & soft but make sure it's real & not bonded. Bonded leather won't last long.

Yeah... then that might be a problem since I also have trouble with the buckles cutting into my skin too... plus, I was hoping for something more stylish... I'm picky about things I wear and how I wear them. If its not something that fits my unique style... I won't wear it. :(
