Since they were boys around 1940's and we know Fritz noticed an error in Principia and corrected it and became an astronomer,

what ever became of the 4 boys Hans wrote about? Are they still alive? What do they think of their role in asperger syndrome?

According to H.A., Fritz V was born in June 1933; if he is alive, he should have 76 y.o. (a realistic age).

However, when writing about their cases, psychiatrists usually change some details to avoid identification - perhaps he was not reaaly an astronomer but a scientist in another field; and perhaps he corrected an error in, let's say, Gauss or Leibniz instead of in Newton...

Possibly, but it is good that patients' identities are kept under tight cover at least until death. Witness the famous case of HM (Henry Molaison) (click here) who lived and died merely a few miles from me.

I doubt we'll ever know, unless they decide to come forward of their own accords.

I think that the information is kept top secret, because Hans worked with them, during the time of the Holocaust.
