Swinging bed

ever since I was little I have had alot of trouble getting to sleep but for some reason being in a car has always put me right to sleep. I was wondering if they sold beds that swing for adults? I don't think they do but it would be awsome. I know between that and my wieghted blanket I would fall right to sleep.

Does anyone else think that having a swnging bed would help you sleep?

Does anyone else fall asleep in cars?

yep all the time if i aint driving they dont sell swing beds but swings yes

I think for small children it's not only the rocking car motion but the white noise of the engine. I used to drive my son around. Don't they have vibrating beds? Maybe you could get one used from a No Tell Motel .

I would love a swinging bed. I have my bed next to the wall as my room is quite small and I press my foot against the wall to rock the mattress back and forward, but I wish it would swing of it's own volition once I got it going. I'm glad I'm not alone. I have a big heavy blanket (sometimes two) that I sleep under as well.

I think it's one of those things that goes back to feeling comforted by my mother rocking me in her arms as a baby.

I have a thing for interesting design, do a google search for private cloud rocking bed to bring it up.
I am also a big fan of this one.

As a baby, my parents used to give me a ride in the car until I fell asleep. I had always hated naps so it was difficult to put me down for one.

I used to have a hammock chair (basically a hammock, but hung from a single point in the roof beam instead of between two things) in my room as a teen. I'd fall alseep in it all the time. It rocked pretty easily. And I still dose off in the car; makes my husband crazy on long car trips.

While these might be difficult to make, suspended bed should be relatively easy to make.

My mom said when I was younger, I fell right to sleep in a car. If I was crying, time for a car ride. Whenever they would stop at a red light I would start crying again, like clockwork. A swinging bed sounds really nice. Maybe you can patent it and make a lot of money.

A couple of my friends can attest to me easily falling asleep in the back of a car on trips. A bed like the ones pictured above would be really nice to have.

I would fall asleep in the ride from home to school. It almost physically hurt when we stopped.
