Titan A.E. (Metaphor for us vs autism speaks?)

Next to Lion King, my favorite movie is Titan A.E.. I could never explain why it was my favorite and was even the basis for my special intrest in lizards and the orgin of my desire to have a lizard of my own. I always suspected the protagainst had AS. A genius machaniac who is able to repair things by out of the box methods, socoliazes well with aliens but is wary of other people. One thing that really got my attention is when they get captured by the drej, the protagainst asks the girl, "What did the human race ever do to the drej? What are they so afraid of?" and she says, "It's not what we did, they are afraid of what we might become" That makes me think of what is going on with autistic people and autism speaks. Autistics are the humans and Autism Speaks are the drej. Maybe I'm just weird but can anyone else see this connection?

I'm with you so far. Can you elaborate on just how Autism Speaks is like the Drej?

I mean, the human threat to the Drej was a giant ship that converts energy (the thing the drej are made of) into a planet. Does the autistic community really pose a threat to Autism Speaks?

Because the fliers I keep seeing supporting it along with that Autism Walk are telling me that they're not going anywhere.

The drej represent conformity. The directors of the movie have even said so. Autism Speaks wants to elimate us just like the drej want to elimate the humans. It's just that the drej are more open about it. Titan A.E. takes place a thousand years in the future. I personaly think egenics is making a comeback and within a thousand years, autism speaks and other anti diffrence organasations are going to probably try and hunt those who are diffrent down like rabbits. I think autism speaks will eventualy bribe some autistics into siding with them so people can't say there have no autistics working for them, but they will just brainwash them into being their puppets. There are some good NTs out there and I think they will side with us but more will be against us. I don't think the directors deliberty meant for Titan A.E. to be an anti autism speaks campain and I don't think they intended for Cale to have AS. With fiction everything is open to interpertation and you can form your own conclusions. I think Titan A.E's intended message is really just anti conformity.
