I get anxiety attacks pretty bad, especially when it's relating to one of my interests. I just had an extra bad one, simply because I don't know when a certain mini series I'm waiting for is coming out. I've been checking for news at least once a week, but nothing. The most is that it will be released in early 2010. I feel so stupid when these things happen.

Yes, I do tend to get anxiety attacks about certain things and then later I'm thinking, "why the heck did I get so upset over something so silly?" :?

Usually the things I stress myself into anxiety attacks over turn out not to be as awful as I was afraid they would be, but it doesn't keep my mind from always leaping to the worst case "what if" scenario and obsessing over it. The older I get, the worse that tendency becomes. Of course, the older I get, the more I have to deal with the government and its labyrinthine bureaucracies that constantly make illogical decisions that complicate and exasperate, and issue nonsensical conflicting instructions and ominous threats of torturous doom.

I wouldn't call them dumb. Usually when I get lost I have anxiety attacks. I can have anxiety attacks over small things, but it's not silly to me.

Mine is using the telephone. I go into panic mode if I have to call someone. I just don't like interrupting people, and I hate the inevitable awkward silences or talking over one another. It stresses me out completely. The only time I'm comfortable calling is if I know they are expecting me at that time and that they will be the one answering the phone. I have a hard time recognizing voices over the phone so there have been many times when I have mistaken someone for someone else and gone on talking as if it was the other person (example: calling my friend and talking to her mother for a 5 minute ramble because I thought it was my friend. Then her mother awkwardly said, "are you looking for *friend's name*?" I was so embarrassed. )

So yeah, whenever I have to call someone I have an anxiety attack of varying size depending on who I'm meant to be calling, but even my closest family/friends I still freak out a little. I'd rather text/email.

Agreed...Also when people are late...because it screws up previously established plans.
