I just thought of this. Well several hours ago and I am typing it. A lot of the people who work in the CTA (chicago proper rapid transit) seem to be neurotypical black people, and their behavior/friendliness/etc show that [black america's culture is influenced by southeast usa culture in general]. So I wonder how many of the people who work on the transit systems are aspies or other auties

Also I also thought of this story which might be cool. A revolutionary government/movement puts autistics into running public transportation systems. Lulz as the autistics get into s**t and general issues with the neurotypical black people. As in how the different people speak/act/nitpick or different ways of phrasing it or more direct means of speaking. That sort of stuff. And the autistic black people side with their fellow autistics :P

Quotes like "Oh, you work in public transportation? With all the weirdos and crazies and nerds in it."

EDIT: And "That place? It's full of messed up people" lol. The nucleus of a neurodiversity movement in public transport.

When I first read the definition of AS it sounded like a description of a typical UK Train Planner.

I think that's funny but lots of aspies are good at transport related stuff and many totally obsessed with it. Me, I can't drive and can hardly find my way out of a paper bag. I have NLD with AS, so people like me couldn't work in transport.

It would be fun to work on the subway. It reminds me somehow of Super Mario Brothers.

subway=sewers or pipes looks.

They called the NYC subway "the electric sewer" in the 1980s due to rats, garbage and niggas jacking peoples' s**t then :lol:

1980s NYC subways were VIOLENT IIRC. The whole 'niggas robbing entire subway trains between lines' thing.

I love trains and subways but I will NEVER get on a bus unless the route is totally set in stone, like an airport bus. I need to constantly know which stop is which and in buses you have to rely on looking out the window and if you get the wrong bus you end up in the middle of nowhere and ach! it's a nightmare! :o

I'd love to be a bus conductor on the back of a Routemaster.

They were violent but I never heard of anyone sticking up an entire train. Sounds like a good way to get shot. Anyway I don't agree with everything Guiliani did, but I agree with what he did there.

Something about the multiple levels, the essentially 2D platforms, the wall tiles, the pipes...
