whats your favourite thing about life?

My two sons are my favorite things (people) in life. No matter how down I get, their smile and laugh is infectious and I can't help but be happy when they do it.

-playing the violin,
-discovering beautiful things (that might be: art, people, lights, landscapes, ideas and more).

My favorite thing about life is how it never ceases to amaze and surprise me. Every day is a brand new chance to experience life and all it has to offer, to the fullest.

This quote is how I wish to live my life:

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a ride!"

My kitty!

My imagination... stories.. comic strips. Ferrets. And school... I miss school.

Books.

My Dog, Computers, Christmas, Austin Powers, the Olympics both Summer and Winter, Swingning London, Flower Children, the Summer of Love and The Beatles.

My gamecube and Family, and at the moment, my time alone.

Quiet time.

are any of you folks scared of people? i'm scared of people but i feel so desperately alone

I'm the same way, car_crash. The Seroquel and Prozac have loosened me up so I can talk in real life to people.

Friends. (The close-to-the-heart kind.) Good teachers.

Books (including fiction); they are enormously enriching. Discussions which all parties learn from. Having glimpses of the pattern of things, and seeing it's good.

Music; good people. (And some other things.)

Besides knowing it will eventually end...my dog, video games, my obssessions, my imagination, my dreams, my art, and my writing.

Mainly the fact that I find it to be a more lucrative alternative than death. Also, there's the dim prospect that it will eventually get better than it has been. Life seems to be a constant struggle for me, so this is about as positive as I can get about it.

Adventure, battle, and exploring the unknown!
