Who the heck ever said Kieth Olbermann has AS??

Currently my favorite show to watch is "Countdown" with Kieth Olbermann. Tonight I was looking on the internet and I saw on wiki that he has AS.

Yet all I could find were some obscure websites that point to his extreme love for and knowledge of baseball which dosen't seem too aspieish for me.

So how did this get started? Did he actually say he has it? Or did someone look at him on TV and say "I bet he has AS"?

I've actually been REALLY wondering that too. I have had limited internet access for the past week, but otherwise would've posted the EXACT SAME THING.

Countdown with Keith Olbermann has become my favorite news show lately too...and I had heard claims he has AS, but see no definitive place where he says he has it or anything "official."

I really do wonder. His show is great, I already watch it over others. If he does indeed have it, he's very lucky to be in a job where he won't get fired over it (never made that obvious for not-want-to-get-sued-for-discrimination reasons of course, usually hid under the "he/she wasn't a team player" BS, in most other industries). The Chairman of NBC has a grandson I believe who is on the spectrum, and so I'm sure that, if Olbermann indeed does have AS, the guy at the top would be proud to have someone on the spectrum starring in the prime time lineup.
