I have a very unusual tactile sensory sensitivity, so I often feel the need to insulate my skin. I sometimes wear regular gloves indoors, but they can make my hands feel too warm and attract unnecessary attention (eg. people asking if my hands are cold). What kind of gloves would be appropriate enough to wear indoors so that I don't come off as too eccentric, would not be too warm, and preferably be made of cotton or another natural fabric?

Perhaps what you want is glove liners intended for people who have to wear latex gloves all day for work. Glove liners are made of cotton, they are very thin, they breath. The catch? They are made for use by the medical community so you may have a hard time buying them individually. Although they should be available online from medical supply outlets, they are most likely sold in bulk boxes. They are intended to be disposable after a couple weeks wearing them under latex gloves so maybe you would want to buy in bulk anyway.

you could wear musicians' white cloth form-fitting gloves, they are for brass players so they don't tarnish the finish of their horns. they would look a bit classy in fact for indoor wear, along with informal business attire. just my opinion.

Use to be - wherever it was I was then - you could walk into the pharmacy and buy a box of very light cotton gloves. Designed to be disposable, possibly the same as the above mentioned glove liners.

But not really inconspicuous.

Fingerless gloves tend to look more "normal" worn indoors than ones with full fingers so you might try them. Sometimes I buy them manufactured without "fingers", other times I snip them off.

Amen to these........I used to work in a hospital and had to wear latex all day in Pathology.......these are the best and as far as I know they are hypoallergenic......just a thought, check out a large pharmacy. Sometimes they have large ranges of medical supplies.

Good luck and take care.
