When I reference someone's "quirks," I am usually referring to things that make them seem different than the majority of people I know.

Or more likely, a view of a typical person that may not be based on evidence at all.

No, not based on evidence. Just based on personal experience. It's not an insult. I refer to my own "quirks" all the time.

I tend to click my tounge when thinking or calculating a decision, I don't even know I'm doing it, but friends notice it as a quirk.

Basically, they're things that come across as odd or different, but not so odd or different that people find them puzzling or possibly unsettling.

Mine include my ability to memorize a ridiculous amount of songs and recognize them after as little as one note has been played. I also tend to space out quite often. Another quirk of mine was my ability to help someone with their work, in almost any subject, just by skimming the page and walking myself through it.

I clean offices and I get teased a lot (in a good natured way) about how often I wander around with a confused look on my face because I've laid something down and can't remember where I've put it. I also get teased about the "trails" of supplies and cleaning rags I leave behind. I used to cluck my tongue all the time and people would comment on that. My biggest quirk is my amazing ability to lose things I just saw a moment ago.

Same, but not teased; just a comment on my look.

At times ive had tantrums and thrown stuff around because of this, of course no one was around.

One of my quirks that my wife notices is I take the backside of my hand and rub my face from my cheek across to my forehead, repeatedly.
I do this when I get nervous and she tells me "you dont know how weird that looks".

A quirk is the sound that a duck with a damaged beak makes.

I would list my quirks but it's easier to simply assume that everything I do is quirky.

:hail: Long live Moog!! !

I believe a strong fondness for puns could be considered a quirk. At least, that's what a little water loving birdie told me.
