What are her special interests? Maybe you can give her a gift, related to one of her special interests.

Perhaps some different kinds of art paper to go with the crayons she got? And maybe something like Prismacolor colored pencils to go with it? (I have some of those...more colors than Crayolas (tm)!)

Do you know what her special interests are? You could try and get her stuff that she is thoroughly interested in like any DVD's and things like that.

That's the sort of thing I can suggest for you, hopefully it be good enough for her. :D

Do you know roughly what size shirt she wears, or can you find out? You could get her a shirt and get something related to her special interest printed on it.

What about a sketch pad? Or some other art supplies? Art kits don't really have all the pieces. There are graphite pencils now so you don't make a mess. Water colour paints could be good too. Maybe not acrylic.
