My special interest is dogs though the German Shepherd is where I concentrate. I wanted to share this with all of you to raise awareness of these probleams facing our beloved dogs.

I had heard of the problems with bulldogs being unable to mate or give birth without help, but not how widespread the genetic problems were over other breeds.

Allot of the show dogs in the program have a visibly painful gait, that apparently they want to select toward, it's very strange. Entire breeds that really don't look healthy or happy, I find the idea of wanting a dog that cannot run or breath properly confusing.

It was a good program to watch, though sad.

I agree with you 100 percent! People like to explain the slope in the German Shepherd back as "the angulation gives them a longer stride and faster gaite better for workiing," :roll: yeah please ignore the fact the dog looks crippled
