She was a brilliant artist, but she lived in the same house all her life, was a hoarder (OCD), believed poison was seeping through the walls of her home, bought dogs to protect herself from an imaginary stalker, and more. She taught art at the college I graduated from, however I took theatre as my arts requirement, so I never met her. She refused to get treated for whatever her mental problem was. She was obsessed with fitness and had a lap pool in her backyard, and she was obsessed with stocks and had a fortune of 1.7 million dollars from her meager salary as an art instructor, put into stocks.

Doubtful. The article makes it sounds like she may had been schizophrenic.

Yeah. Schizophrenic. They also tend to be good artists as well.

Maybe its possible she was "all of the above", on the Spectrum, OCD and Schizophrenic. I do not believe an article that size is going to give anyone enough information to diagnosis someone completely accurately. She sounds interesting enough. It's a nice article thanks for sharing it.

I want to see her work! It sounds like the people who knew and loved her really appreciated her even though she was so "eccentric" as they said.

hmmm, how can someone not a doctor diagoise her from that?
