Ahhh, poor puddy cats.

Maybe you could make a guy by stuffing some old clothes with newspaper waterproofed in bin liners and leave it stood outside the door like a 'scare cat'. But make sure you introduce your cats to it first. If you wore the clothes for a few hours first to get you scent on them then your aspie cats should be ok.

I don't have cats but there is a bully cat in my neibourhood that bother the other cats and I chase it off when I see it harrassing the other cats.

I chased away this black cat who was bullying one of mine. The affected cat was really nervous before going outside this morning, but his bully cat hasn't been back. I think the bully saw that I also have dogs who get along with my cats, but love chasing others.

Last summer, this same cat was also bullied by mockingbirds. He couldn't go in the backyard without them divebombing him. It was a scene right out of The Birds. I just hope for my cat's sake that they set up their nest someplace else, as I felt sorry for him.

One of my favorite shows is Barking Mad and they had an episode where the pet behaviorists explained how to get rid of the neighborhood cat bullies and how to get your cats confidence back up after being bullied. It's a British TV show but it runs in the US on Animal Planet. They had great advice.

Careful about your cats' health... if they get into a fight, cat claws and teeth are extremely dangerous. They're likely to leave marks that require veterinary attention. Some cats are even seriously hurt... if it looks like your cat is getting into fights (say, if the bully corners them) I'd recommend keeping them inside.

I would suggest to you to make sure to find out whether your cat is fighting. All that's really required is that you run your hands over your cat's fur to make sure the cat is all right and hasn't got any scratches or bites... I don't believe your cat will mind :)

But if there's clawing or biting going on, it's important that any injuries are seen to, since such wounds can easily become infected. Also make sure your cats have got their shots.

My family's miniature Rat-Terrier mix picks on our overweight cat all the time. Our cat is de-clawed in her front paws. It is more of a "play fight" than an actual animal brawl. Niether pet gets hurt. :)

All of us in our family call this a "Kitty cat rodeo!! !" whenever our dog messes with the cat :P

BTW: "kitty cat rodeo" is a referance to a scene in the movie "Joes Apartment" :D
