Is it possible to erase a diagnose?
I'm only 16 right now, but I'm scared that my 'future' boss would see my diagnose in my medical dossier.
I feel pretty * up by the CLB. I asked last year at a psy for a concentration test. Everything was very under average for me, to be honest I faked the test to get Ritalin. I faked the test, but I think I would fail it when I would take the test.
Then I had a little discussion with a psych, she made my diagnose with info I gave her about me childhood. I think I tried too hard to look like a problem child, and I feel like * up.

My opinion is that you probably do not have to worry about it - most average employers are not going to track that down, or even care about it. I suppose if you are trying to get a 'top secret' / government or similar high level job, they would care. In that case you probably could not hide it anyway.

In any case, you probably should start being genuine with the testing, docs, etc. so if you do need meds / therapy / advice, or whatever, you can get what you truly need and maybe land a better job based on the skills you can show in the interview. Thats what counts the most first.

PK, if they are in another country, the laws you are familiar with may not apply here. OP, as you are attempting to game the system, I am left skeptical as to your situation. But a dx can change depending on the doctors and symptoms, and the criteria used. An ASD is a cancer that shows on a scan - it is harder to refine and define.

It does depend on which country you are in. However, in many places, including the US, you are not required to tell employers whether you have any diagnosis, just whether or not you can do the job.

Losing a diagnosis won't help because if they can access the information that you are now diagnosed with AS, they would be able to access the information that you used to be diagnosed with it. If they wanted to be prejudiced, a lost diagnosis wouldn't stop them.

I was wondering about this. I entered the Air Force before Asperger's became an official diagnosis on the books, but the whole medical process you go through before being sworn in was so thorough that I can imagine them shutting a person out for AS. I almost got sent back for my eye problems but they allowed me. They often would reject people who had headaches, and I was told by my recruiter to say "no" I didn't get headaches. I have no idea how the medical processing has changed, but this does not surprise me at all.

How the hell do you fake a test like that? Why did you want Ritalin so much, to get high? I don't understand what the purpose was, to be honest. It has not worked out very well for you, has it? Did the Ritalin even help you at all?
