To anyone that was ever a fan of the show Boston Legal I wonder this. How many of you thought the character overexaggerated? I'm sure some are affected with a similar degree of eccentricity. But by and large how many of you really related to him to the level the character was displayed?

It almost seemed like they must have decided that was the template for Aspergers when they introduced a female guest character with almost carbon copy tics. Not to mention that she was an objectophile. The storyline for her character being she was in love with a utility box and wanted to sue the utility company for removing her 'lover'. It's mentioned that her ex-lover had been a clock radio.

I'm not making fun. But it just seemed outlandish to me to present two Aspies as extremely eccentric as all that. Added to that, Christian Clemenson won an Emmy for the portrayal. I actually adore his character for who he is. Would love to hear what you think.

I think that's going a little too far, myself. I look forward to the day, that I see an accurate portrayal of AS, in the media, no matter which TV show hosts the character.
