Congratulations. I know that you were very apprehensive of meeting her again. I'm Really Scared To See My Favorite Former Teacher Again! It looks like your get together went very well.

I might make one more comment. I noticed when you arrived to meet your former teacher, your body began to shake violently. This is because your body was in a state of extreme stress. There is a simple way to vent this stress energy in your core brain which is producing a shiver response. That is exactly what your body did automatically. After a minute or two of shivering you successfully vented this stress energy and you were good-to-go.

I guess my point is that you do not have to wait until your body is in a stress overload condition to utilize your ability to vent stress energy. You can do this with a simple but strange exercise routine. It is detailed in a book titled "The Revolutionary Trauma Release Process" by David Berceli.
