Top MSNBC Headline today, for an article based on a new CDC study:
300,000 U.S. children diagnosed with autism

I'll take this to the News Forum if moderators wish, but since it is on topic posted it here on the main discussion board.

I'm not a mod, but this should probably also go in the parents fourm.
Interesting that they have put this one out, because last year, they were saying that 300,000 children were on some sort of medication. It's a little weird, that the statistic is identical. I'm certainly not arguing with it, but it's just a little weird.
Also, the same study said that there are 15 million people with dx's of some sort of behavior problem.
The 300,000 should be good ammunition for parents in dealing with school boards, however.
