My psychologist had me fill out 3 questionnaires at home: the SRS-2 Adult form, the Ritvo (RAADS-R, 80 questions), and the CASD (from Susan Mayes).

I wonder if these tests can also tell if there is some ADHD.

I suspect (I’m pretty sure :D ) I also have dyslexia. But obviously those tests would not show that.

What questionnaires did you have to fill out for your ASD assessment?

I have not been assessed yet so I can't answer. Hopefully someone else can answer. :)

The Empathy Quotient (EQ) and Autistic-Spectrum Quotient (AQ) were done at the start of my assessment. They're the ones that the UK's National Health Service (NHS) recommends to use across the whole service (so that would probably be you, too, MG). IIRC, both originate from well known (and somewhat controversial) scientist Simon Baron-Cohen's Autism Research Centre at Cambridge University, which may or may not have influenced the choice.

I imagine that private clinics might use different testing methods, but even they would probably want their diagnoses to be near equivalent to an NHS one, so that diagnosed patients can use them to access other state-funded services.

Oh! I see. I’m the US, I guess the system here is different. I was able to be seen right away by the specialist. I’m still going through testing etc, so I don’t have a diagnosis just yet. Maybe tomorrow he will have a preliminary diagnosis? He said it takes 2 weeks to get the final report. (I guess they don’t know this waiting time bothers me tremendously! :D )

I can’t imagine having to wait for months to get an assessment!
