My friend this summer has classes Mon-Thurs work all day Fri/Sat I don't see how she does it WOW! I couldn't do it! My plan is to focus STRICTLY on College (when I go back) a job IMO (for me) comes second. I'm just shocked at her schedule! I know I couldn't do it!! !! How about you? (I didn't know where to put this topic I was curious if others on the spectrum like/dislike busy schedules like this or if they have one similar to this so I thought General Autism was the right board.) :-)

I keep my schedule busy. It's easy to do when I have no friends around me, and I need the business to keep my mind of how lonely I am.

My schedule always fills itself up. Some might think it minimal. It can often overwhelm me. I have at times handled REAL busy business - but then I need to schedule in serious downtime

Sometimes I feel like my life is a schedule but seriously when I was working I was a workaholic. We wer extremely shorthanded & I was working over 9 hours a day 6 days a week & I was averaging over 55 hours a week not counting lunch so by the time I got home; I had enough time to shower, eat, go to bed & not much else. I worked extra because I cared about the job & it felt good doing something productive. That was a couple years ago. I've been unemployed for the last two years & I do very little at home. Parents think I like doing nothing at all. I guess I like being busy if I'm comfortable with what I'm doing but I really like having a routine even if I'm not busy. I can have a schedule & do almost nothing except online stuff
